27 Jul 1992 - At the carriage house, Ross repeats his demand that Blake leave, but she ignores him as she lights candles for dinner. Closing the door for Ross, she pulls him into a kiss. Ross eventually stops himself, but Blake still won't listen to him until after they eat. Ross insists that no means no, even for men, but Blake points out that he said no in the past but gave in anyway. Ross explains that he did change his mind at those particular times and he enjoyed himself, but he thinks they agreed that it would happen just once. Pointing out that they've been together twice already, Blake thinks Ross is just being careful and doesn't really want her to leave. Ross realizes that Blake doesn't really care if they get caught together. He gets confused when Blake proclaims that she's proud of "us". Ross doesn't see them as a couple and explains that their time together was more like a vacation from their real lives. Blake disagrees, insisting that she really was there with Ross. Ross feels that Blake doesn't see how serious this is for him, but Blake thinks he can still achieve his goals with some fun on the side. She wants to know why it's so wrong for him to be linked with her, so Ross describes Blake as different, which she doesn't see as a compliment. Ross corrects himself, saying that some would see Blake as unacceptable, but she wants to know what his opinion of her really is. He bluntly points out how her youth and issues would be scandalous for his campaign. Blake stands up for herself when she feels that Ross is ashamed of her. Ross tries to explain that the circumstances are inappropriate, but Blake's heard enough and quickly leaves.

LOL He's this lawyer who gives wonderful moving summations in court and Blake makes him tongue-tied. At this early date, I think part of it was him not knowing what he meant himself and not wanting to reveal too much vulnerability for this woman whom he thought he shouldn't/couldn't be with.
