Chi's "lying" is actually correct if you know anything about business which you apparently do not Mr. pogobat. He was giving a fairly accurate, even tho it was exaggerated for shock value, insight into the TRUE intentions of the YouTube Corporation. Yes... CORPORATION, and the businessmen behind it.
It's all about money-making. And this ideal has affected the quality & quantity of YouTubes content and has made it harder for us viewers to enjoy ourselves. Which is ALL WE COME HERE FOR! NOT ads!

Annoyingly whiny voice delivering a message which doesn't actually add to the dialogue of "how can we make things better?", ironically. Furthermore, there was nothing wrong with chicity's inferences about supposed attention span of youtubers leading to the short vid recommendations.
