The conclusion of a 9000 kilometer journey from Tibet to England first takes the Trans-Siberian railway from Beijing. There's a break at Ulan Bator, Mongolia, for horse-riding, another stop at Irkutsk, Siberia, for a walk on the shores of Lake Baikal, and a visit to Moscow. The final leg carries on through Belarus to Warsaw and then home to London.

  • A very fine and understated journey, showing something of the peoples, culture and history of the lands travelled through.
