(SECRET REVEALED!!) 3D Dot Game Heroes - How to Beat Dash Circuit Block Circuit and Monaca Circuit

It's Cheesy... ... ... But NOT as cheesy as "DASH CIRCUIT!!"
This is a video to show how to overcome the devastating, dreadful Block Circuit in 3D Dot Game Heroes. It requires some patients to perform but not nearly as much patients as it takes to clear the Monaca Circuit in under 60 seconds. YOU CAN DO THIS.!!

When pausing, use the 'Select Button' not the Start Button. You'll have to improvise on how you will hold the controller to perform this. I used my two thumbs for pressing circle and select back to back on straight-ways and I had to use my thumb on with my left hand on the D-Pad along with my index and thumb finger (at the same time) for Select and Circle for turns.

I was a Dash Circuit victim myself, staying up hours at a time trying to clear these times just to end up CONSTANTLY a few seconds off...
Once I figured this out I beat it in about 15 minutes..!

Hey! I tried everything in this video as you said. But it seems I may be doing something wrong. Whenever I try and change directions, I pause the game using select and then hold down the D-Pad. Yet it seems I'm not changing direction at all.

Do you have any input as to what I may be doing wrong?

Be careful when holding down on the D-pad while un-pausing the game. It's easy to let go by accident.

Do you really need to make a block and what with the combination is that a Cheat, will it disable trophies?

You don't NEED to create the 'All White Block', however, the 'All White Block' shows all of what is known as a 'Collision Block'. If you've experienced the frustration of Dash Circuit enough then you'll know that in many cases you appear as if you've cleared a corner yet your character still bumps into objects such a 'trees'. This is due to the nature of programming video games and the fact that 3D Dot Game Heroes allows you to make any size character that you want.

I FREAKING LOVE YOU MAN!!! I just completed this now! First time I picked up 3D Dot Game Heroes in ages, FINALLY! It's been holding me back from getting all swords... superb, thanks for the technique sir! Managed in 63.99 secs, my previous best was 67.5. Seriously, great effort putting this together!

It's extremely hard to still have to hold the damn select button. Already have done 3 tries.

Pausing the game is so over the top... with the cubic character and both codes should be enough. I did the dash courses the legit way and it was very hard.

With the patch, the time is now 65 sec. , a lot more manageable. No need to do all this, it's now feasible.

Still, it's a cool trick! (but rather long)
