You instead, are one of the millions who, if we survive the next hundred years, be looked back upon as archaic, and outdated.

No, he is saying that there is a system which doesn't produce good enough results for people. And instead if blaming people, we should evolve the system. Your excusing the system, because you do not want to take the responsibility of making it better.

Because you believe it can not be done.
Because you believe this, you will not try or carefully evaluate anyone who claims it can be done.

So basically what he's saying in this video is that if there is a society that can't support its self, they should be put on welfare instead of reforming. Wow, genius.

Goddammit, I was reading about Parecon at work today and it the whole capitalism fostering anti-social behavior thing makes a lot of sense. It also makes me sick.
