  • how do i just remove the damn governor, i can NOT figure this out, i can get pretty close to 17 but then the motor kicks back to like 12 (you can feel it slow down)

HOW do i do this. also i have a crappy e300 with the on/off throttle and onle 250w motor,

  • @pencilman222000 there is no "govenor" persay. you are only limited by the battery input. so if you upgrade to 36v and have fresh new batteries you should see your 17 and keep it. it sounds like your batteries are on the way out. get new ones.

  • ter. Also going around the same terrain, the average speed dropped from 12.4 mph with a top speed of 23.3 mph to an average speed of 7.9 mph with a top speed of 15 mph. The governor annoys me, and I will likely soon go back to the switch due to that being ungoverned.

  • I have some lipo batteries in my scooter, and all hooked up they were at 36v. I initially didn't know the controller could handle 36v so I just had an on/off switch to connect and disconnect the batteries from the motor. I had it going 23.3 mph (gps speedometer) with that setup, but now that I am running it through the controller, the motor will not spin any faster than what 15mph is at the wheel. Even if I am going down a hill that speeds the scooter up above 15mph, the motor won't spin any fas

  • i am interested in doing this but i have one question: where do you put the third battery?

  • where do you get the batteries?

  • whats the highest you can go in battery volts for this scooter casue im trying to make it faster than 15 like 35 or more 45 mph the lowest ill go is 25 is there any way i can make it go one of thos speeds

  • @gameboy3399 (btw i had upgraded my battery before) in minnesota they limit the speed of any electric vehicle available to minors to 15 mph top speed, my 17 only happens when goin downhill, then the motor stops running, and once the ground flattens out it wont kick in until its goin about 12 mph again.

and i figured it out, it was incased in a blob of insulation, i stripped it back, cut a red wire, and it tops out at 21 now, and keeps goin.

    definately kills the battery faster

  • I'm a single mom in New York. Just bought used E300. Is there anyone that knows this well and could do it for me for a fair price? Thanx. EMAIL me at i_buy_used@yahoo.com

  • thanks for helping
