It can take up to 2 years for the cords to form completely and 5 years to reach the desired lenght. This corded white coat helps the dog blend in well with sheep and also helps protect them from beasts of prey that it might be called upon to fight in his role as flock guardian.

  • @VpR81 lol

  • I have owned several different types of Dogs but I must say the Kommodor is very unusual. I have owned my kommodor for 1 and a half years. He looks like a man in a fur suit something about the eyes of these dogs. He is the most intelligent and stubborn breed I have ever owned. I can understand why the Hungarian people respected them and prized them. For a farm they are a very valuable asset. I have had Rottweilers, German Shepard's, Doberman pinchers. The Komondor has been the most intelligent .

  • I can't tell one end of the dog from the other.

  • Si alguna vez tengo un perro, tendré un Komondor.
