@ocanator If you hold that definition of murder, then former president bush is a mass murderer. Perhaps you should look up what words mean before you utter them?
@ocanator He did murder anyone. He was in a car accident in which a woman died. Maybe he delayed to long in getting help, but Kopechne would have been dead anyway. But did you think life was fair?
May he rest in peace. Massachusetts grieves for the death of our lion, Ted Kennedy. New England will mourn the loss and I hope another comes to take his place among the great liberal defenders of democracy and peace. May the future envisioned in New England, born from the traditions of our liberal Yankee roots, be our whole nation's reality! True Patriotism was born here and it will be here again that we take back the meaning from the Right who has perverted our ancestral beliefs!
Obama has problems speaking compared to George Bush?
That's like saying Michael Jordan in his prime has problems with his jump shot compared to ... Squeaky the Clown.
LOL.
I think it's more than fair to admonish Bush for his failures. He lives off the public dime. He's a public "servant." Or were we HIS servants? He and Dick Cheney are fucking disgraces who should be strung up in Lafayette Park and stoned to death like Mussolini. They're disgusting pigs.
Part of that problem could easily be addressed to the time when Democrats had control of Congress. While it's not fair to admonish Bush of all his failures, he really wasn't that bad considering what was on his operating table. The first major domestic attack on U.S. soil in over 50 years, arguably 2 economic downturns, major political opposition and even more problems. And please, don't be so quite to vilify Bush's speaking habits, when Obama has plenty of his own concerns in that matter.
Well, thanks for talking for me. No, I don't "idolize" Obama in the least. But, when you stop to consider the horror of the previous 8 years ... hell, it's good just to have a Pres who can speak English properly.
That aside, there are aspects of his personality that are admirable; but idolatry is another thing entirely.

Perhaps you did not realize that he - as usual - said nothing of any consequence. A master of double speak - a true American politician.

That's the difference.
