Black Beard Algae when H2O2 is applyed

That's what happens when you add some H2O2 to the most hated algae on freshwater aquariuns. I applyed a regular dose of 10ml of H2O2 and they started to bubble, a few days later they became red, and then white and a littler later they just died.

I have just applied in my tank last night and still couldnt see much this morning of the differences of bba. some of them turned into white color though.

but some of them still the same, im planning to nuke them again tommorrow.

@dennyc1977 Well, the effects are only reognizable after some time.. you'll see them turning red, and consequently white (dead). Make sure to apply more than once, and with yout filter/pump off.

This won't solve the problem, you still have to rely on a better solution to erradicate the root of the problem, although this will help a lot.

ok my plants are cuba and vivipara, they all infected by bba. i have tried use H2O2 3 times. I nuked them every 2 days when filter and pump OFF.

50-80% Water changed daily, except the weekend. i need to take a rest.

yup i can see them turned red and white, problem bbs still there an wont go off.

actually i have put 5 SAE, 10 Amano Shrimps and they didnt eat much.

The problem now the BBA still growing event worst !
