    Ok but please do tell me what in the hell sound has to do with smoothness of an engine when I'm comparing it to a petrol engine which naturally growls and a diesel engine which just does not have the same growl.

    This one sounds petrol and not diesel at all.. I've seen other tests where it is clearly a diesel sound and not this petrol.. :p

    It's not logical to drive a turbocharged car above its torque band. In this video the driver changes gears above 5k rpm, which is above the car's torque band. That's why this car is not that quick in this video (Check the autoforumcz's video)
