  • Cool psuedo-mystical gibberish, bro. Yeah "dreamin' ourselves into consciousness interdimensionally..." Pass that spliff, dude!

Real science demonstrates that you have a mutual common ancestor with monkeys, and, indeed, with all of life on earth.

Go get a library card. Id on't know if you heard but they're free! And they have good grammar books there too I heard!

  • The things Colin McGinn said were so much more important than these guys seemed to realize.

  • @bloodcell9 If not for the content of the discussion, then for showing how a real discussion is conducted. Cause OMG do the religious need to learn that.

  • well thats a first.

Mr De Duve is the first scientist i have ever listened to that dosnt know what a theory is.

  • @sleepcity

know what else is crazy?.... that a bunch of dudes wrote 1 book about 1 dude and everything they wrote... the word of god. no shit... and people follow it like their lives depend on it!

  • @caius112 Fair point made. From the beginning of the interview I had my doubts about Mr. Pollack. He's trying to make things physical and simple for himself, whereas it's not that simple at all. Probably his personal limit of imagination in his mind is the reason for his way of thinking. A sorry waste of a brain.

  • Colin McGinn seems weary and uninterested in what the other participants have to say, as if their intellectual inferiority is a tax on his patience, and then when he does speak what he says is specualtive and inconsequential. A very poor example of a philosopher.

  • philosophers are are annoying.

  • That manchild-looking guy dressed inblack (notthe guy in the tie, is terribly annoying. wtf is his problem?

  • everything we create is alive, everything we can see around us evolves, small or big, it does, in one way or another. We are part of nature, so what we create is also, in a way, party of nature.

  • good question

    id go with

    Self Awareness and

    Personality

    self aware should be obvious

personality, we are all made up of the same parts yet we all have different personalities, even siblings from the same home and upbringing.

Thats my answer, im sure everyones would be different

  • What is a ''soul''? Any evidence for it?
