Wow, get off your high horses, people. North Americans are relatively privileged and, to some extent, materialism comes with that. Steph seems like a thrifty person to me in most respects, but we all have things we're willing to splurge on. If she feels that those shoes are worth it, it's not anyone's business to criticize her. While I personally would never spend that much on any article of clothing, I don't see why people are getting so hostile over this. Get a hobby or something, geez.

So at first when you said the price of the shoes I was thinking "oh yeah way too much, that would be crazy I her sister bought her that" but if my sister wanted $1000 shoes and I had the money, I would get them for her because I love her and want to get her what she wants. @Ayreia I completely agree, haters have really blown this out of proportions, I admire thier style (alltho its not my own) I've never bashed them. And true fans know that they dont really spend much on Name Brands they buy a lot of sales, vintage and used stuff, They also post the prices and to be frank I am amazed how they do it!!! Seriously Ive never seen an outfit over a 100 USD!!
