This is the hotel - Oakley Court - where they filmed The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1974. It is next door to Bray Studios, where the interiors/lab/ballroom were filmed.

  • Looks like some kind of hunting lodge for rich wierdos!

  • they ought to decorate the place with cobwebs and set the dining room table with lots of forks and random vegetables! and then they should send a random transvestite into the rooms at night to seduce all the guests.

i think their business would soar if they did that.

  • i want to go there just so i can slide down the banister in a Magenta costume.... over and over and over again XD

  • I want to be able to go there some day... That movie was such a big part of my life growing up, I can't imagine never seeing that place first hand! Then again, they'd likely toss me out as I'd either be walking through the halls in a maid costume, or I'd be running 'round the whole place grunting while wearing gold underwear.

  • was you sataying in the hotel or did u just turn up to film it cause iam going to the village were they filmed chitty chitty bang bang and the hotel is in the same area just woned if you had to ask th hotel before filming

  • @xmaspast Thanks for the info.

  • @horrorjunkie92 That room was just a spare lounge when I worked there, they now use it as an extra conference room.

The "time warp room" wasn't shown in this video for some reason, it was to the left of that room through the bar.

  • Where exactly was the church? At the studio?

  • 4:07 I love the doormen's posh accents. Reminds me of Tim Curry (in real life.)

  • 2:40 So I guess that was the dining room from the movie where Eddie's corpse was under the table? I THINK that was the enterence to the dance floor where transalvainans were in the movie. But, that was a set. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Those gargoyles never used to be there, were they?

  • @lakeenemy "They're probably foreigners with ways different than our own."
