@lootee03 Some people still rap about those themes you miss. But i personally think that rap is more about rhymes, rythmes, flow. Like i think rock is more about dancing and jumping than about revolution. However Rock used to spread the same message as rap, back when it was created. I think this is a normal evolution. Moreover, nowadays some rappers still talk about peace, war, politic. You could listen to eminem's "white america", or "sing for the moment".

Hip Hop nowadays is just about the sex, pop that pussy blahblahblah, and money. Damn, I remember when hip hop had more deeper meaning to it. I mean sex and money was still talked about sometimes but there was also love, power, peace, movement, and political views. Those memorable metaphorical, theoretical meanings that made you think and think, "Wow that's amazing. ill never forget where the beat moved you and made you bob your head while the words inspired." Damn, I fucking miss it.
