@lakashipu Though I hate people calling Football "soccer", football is called football for a different reason. You are right, in a sense that, its called Football coz its played ON foot and not BY foot. When football was invented, most of the sports were played riding horses... but since there were no horses involved here, it was called Football (feet and a ball). So technically, rugby is also football.

But anyway, to people who call it soccer... its NOT!

@lakashipu The term "soccer" originated in England way back in the late 1800's and was one of the first names given to the sport. It's not insulting and it's not incorrect. I wish more English actually knew this.
