Diego the Degu loves to get scratched!

Since the death of his brother, our lone degu LOVES to be scratched and petted by us. Very cute!

Ideally that would be great... he's just too old now (with many health problems) so his new partner would left alone when he passes. Diego is doing awesome, and is actually much more active and happy now that he is the sole recipient of our attention. He runs outside every day and plays with us, and gets lots of love. I'm home all day talking and petting him, as I work right beside his cage.

Thanks for the advice, but not everyone needs your words of wisdom. And learn to spell.

Old degus need partners, too. And if you would get two partners, there would still be a two left, when Diego would die. But if you do not want to keep him appropriate to his spezies, I can do nothing about it. Poor Diego...
