The concept shown in this clip is very simple; based on a proven fact an average sized tree can make about 170,000 pencils. So, its safe to assume that there are (14 000 000 000) pencils made each year from approximately 82 000 trees. Thats a LOT of trees cut down.
So therefore this video aims to show you how you can make a difference by simply switching to Eco-friendly products,in this case a "Clutch Pencil" made from recycled plastic.This change can bring with it a dual benefit of using more environmentally responsible products and also creating demand for recycled material & new technologies which ultimately have a big impact on the sustainability of our lifestyles.
