A couple of friends and I listened to this song at dusk with our eyes closed in what was apparently a haunted barn. It scared the crap out of us.

I always liked the "noise" music aspect of neutral milk hotel, like in marching theme and pree-sisters swallowing a donkey's eye. I'm a big fan of that kind of music, stuff like john cage and more "underground" stuff like RedSK, endometrium cuntplow, zebra mu and hhhhh, but that's usually a bit harsher than this kind of thing. I make some myself, it's real relaxing to make if you go all out on it.
