He points, in particular, to the UN Goldstone Report and testimonies of Israeli soldiers in Breaking the Silence, several of whom describe the level of Israeli firepower as "insane." Uh - what you view as Israel breaking a ceasefire in November of 2008 was Israel taking proactive action against militants that their intelligence told them were planning a terrorist operation.
