Perfect Pikmin Day 2

Perfect Pikmin is when the game Pikmin (for the Game Cube) is beaten in nine game days with zero Pikmin deaths. As far as I know I was the first person to do this, on March 29, 2002.

This is the second day of Perfect Pikmin, in which the second to fifth parts are recovered from the Forest of Hope.

If you're wondering where Day 1 is, that day is basically a can't-die tutorial level, so really not worth posting video of.

Have you tried the 50 pikmin challenge yet? Basically, that's where you only grow 50 pikmin total, collect all the items and not lose a single pikmin. The soonest anyone has ever completed this was in 9 days. However, most recommend to go for 10 to 12 days.

Think you can handle it?

@LBTUploader I never tried the 50 pikmin challenge, but I remember when the first people did that. Pretty cool. I don't even have my Game Cube anymore so I guess I won't be doing it now.

This is a nice walkthrough! Personally, I've done this in 9 days, no deaths, but it's still fun to watch anyways.

I wouldn't grow so many pikmin in the beginning, (I save growing pikmin for Impact Site), but that's just me.

I'm just curious, was this video from '02, when you first did it, or more recently?

@SSBMaster11 The video was recorded in 2002 (see the credits at the end of the video). I haven't actually played Pikmin lately.

Most of the growing of Pikmin in these videos is completely unnecessary -- it's a bit obsessive compulsive I think.

@LBTUploader How is that possible? You need 40 blues for a ship part in the forest Navel, and 20 reds for the one in the Impact Site?

I'm assuming there is no video for Day 1 because it's the easiest of days regardless. I've never lost a pikmin on day 1. if it's possible.

I tried for hours, but could never get >3 parts in the first day in the forest of hope. I can get 5 in the Forest navel on the first day though.
