We climbed to 15000 feet in the lee wave, but then decided to get a closer look and slope soar the windward west side. There were several climbers on their way back down that you can see in this video.

  • Yes I do. The OLC would not allow the name until I talked them into it. I mean, aren't we really just pleasing ourselves? And we do it in the wind here in Hood River. It's one of the best places in the world for wind surfing as well as kayaking, skiing, hiking, biking, snow boarding the entire year, kiteboarding, great beer, and wine, fantastic restaurants, and friendly people. Please consider coming here for your next vacation, there's something for the entire family to do while you soar.
