RAJAH III:
"The Rajah III is basically a scaled down, more pocket friendly, version of its big brother. Designed by Andrew Demko, it shares almost all the major features of the Rajah II including an AUS 8A stainless blade, Tri-Ad™ lock, thumb plate opener, ambidextrous pocket clips, and a Grivory handle with steel liners for extra strength and rigidity."

Rajah III

***New serrated Rajah III available (65KGMS)***

"The Spartan™ has dual pocket clips to assure ambidextrous carry and for quick draw opening, it features a thumb plate that can be used to open the knife like a conventional "one handed opener" or be snagged on the edge of a pocket during the draw stroke and opened automatically.

Additionally, the Spartan™ incorporates our Tri-Ad™ locking mechanism, which has proven, under torture testing to be almost impervious to stress, strain and shock. It's almost impossible to overcome and offers a huge margin of safety not found in our competitor's folders."

  • @SirWilliam318 ...glad I was of some service...JT

  • Hey JT,

Nice video. Thanks for letting us know your view on these knives. How about the Rajah III compared to the AK 47? Same steel, same blade length, which one do you like?

    Thanks

  • @adawg9842 ...thanks. I still have to get a Cold Steel AK-47 knife.

  • Do you prefer Kukris over Bowie or tanto blades?

  • @Pimpzilla300 ...Maybe Bowie-style blades just a little more.

  • I tend to side with the knives that have a flat grind, so the Rajahs win in my book. But that Spartan has more style than the Rajah Bros, (yes, even the first one).

  • Thank you for this video ! I have been pondering the same comparison lately

  • I'm not into big folders, but the Rajah is an exception. Those things are just beasts and look awesome.

  • Just saw the Spartan on Amazon for about $55 and that included shipping. I also have the Rajah III and keep it in my "Go Bag". Great knife. Tough, flat grind slicer, light and cheap enough to thump on. Wasn't crazy about it when I got it but it has grown on me. The more I use it the more I love it. GREAT VID>

  • Awesome vid JT, I edc a Spartan when I hike, and will have to pick up a rajah 3. I was slightly disappointed to see the new espadas in G10, although I like G10 IMHO it was a drop back from the aluminum micarta/G10 combo...and at the same price. I can't believe they discontinued the rajah 1, but I own one so I guess it's bad for those who missed the ship!

    Keep em coming JT
