  • I love sums and GOB

  • @veelovesnmc if you played guitar youd understand, if you dont ill explain. bands will often tune down their guitar half a step down to sing the song easier or a lot of their songs are already tuned down. soda is in regular tuning

  • @veelovesnmc Gob had a better raw sound but thats just my opionion plus I fisrt saw them in 97 and I didn't get wind of Sum 41 til '01, If I had heard of sum 41 before they became big I I would have liked them more, Its all how you recieve it too i guess, cause I first heard of Gob when I saw them at a small show in BC Cananda and didn't hear of Sum 41 until i saw them on MTV when was living in the East Coast in the states

  • @beverlyskates That's true it does different between the states and Canada, as in Canada they were both pretty big at one time, and they're still writing music now, and they've always been similar with their sounds so in my opinion they're both great and mainstream at the same time. Recently not so much, but that will change I'm sure. :)

  • @veelovesnmc its possible I may be wrong I always felt that Gob was less mainstream as sum 41 in the states, it may be diffrent in Cananda though

  • @doantsgetcancer Yes, I think it's neat that they've recruited Tom to be working with them on their new album, and also that he tours with them is cool too. I'm also interested to hear what the new Gob album that he's been working on will be like as well!
