racing is one of the most popular teams in Argentina...In 1966 they won the argentinian league....in 1967 they won the Libertadores Cup( the 'southamerican' champions league), and the intercontinental cup against the 1967 european champion, Celtic Glasgow. acing had to wait 35 year to celebrate another league title, in 2001. Nowadays, Racing tries to stay in the first division (they'll stay there but it'll be very difficult next year).....These are not their best days.......

Nesta época o Racing clube de Avellaneda (e não do município de Buenos Aires) era um timaço, tanto é que ganhou a libertadores e a copa intercontinental de 1967. Mas também não podemos esquecer que Gerd Muller foi mais um cracasso da história do futebol. Não foi em vão que ele ganho 1 mundial de seleções com a Alemanha e 1 mundial interclubes com o Bayern Munchen. (só por curiosidade, esse jogo foi realizado no estádio do Independiente de Avellaneda?) Uma verdadeira relíquia!
