Did a demo shave with the Blue Beard shaving cream. This stuff is awesome! I haven't been using any shaving soaps since I've go to this cream. I do a pass with the Single edge star, double edge popular, and finish with the Wilkins swords 3 blade which I really like also. If you wana give it a try, check out their site.... http://www.bluebeards-revenge.co.uk/

  • Thinking about getting a 1912 star razor myself, what blades do you use and how do you sharpen them?

  • @timebomb16 I got my blades from walgreens just to try it, they are GEM single edge. you do not sharpen them, they are disposable. I have seen things on ebay where you can sharpen them...but why bother. if you want something you can sharpen, you need to get a straight razor and go all out :D. I love my star!

  • How long do those blades last you? Im going to basic training soon and have never shaved before (always had a bit of fuzz).

  • @Freya06 um, DE razor blades people say like 7 shaves with one blade. I get like 13 but my face is like steel. I feel that of all the razors i've used.. the proglide is the best. use that thing for like a month.

  • Thanks for the video dude...I actually have been shaving with the Wilkinson razor due to the flexibility of the blades..Great for shaving my head..It works really well on my face too...The bluebeards revenge is one of the best creams i have ever used..The post shave balm is awesome for the face and head...Very close to The Art of Shaving shave cream...You nailed it on the head and are working with the right tools!!!

  • @SanturceBoy Thanks for the great comment!

  • @jeffzahnd The Slant Bar is terrific Jeff... but I have both... i'd have to say the Slant Bar is a 9 out of 10.... the adjustable is just a fraction better. If you can't get the Fatboy... Merkur makes a great adjustable too. Good luck Buddy !!!

  • @Johnnyboy792 I'd love to try a slant bar....just what is the price :P that's the worse thing about DE shaving...to much selection :D I have my eyes on an adjustable fat boy...but I might just get a new straight edge razor :)

  • Great video Jeff ! I'll be buying some Bluebeard shave cream as soon as I can. If you havn't tried it, I recently purchased the Merkur Slant Bar Razor. It' a great shaving experience !!!

  • @jeffzahnd Well, I think it is cool anyway that you are flying the Lear. It must be real exciting, all that performance. I often fantasize about flying a Cessna Citation X. I am interested in your electric razor review. I used several of those for years and finally got sick of the inferior results. I had a couple by Braun, one by Grundig &c., all terrible compared to a good old wet shave. Wet shaving is messy, but well worth it in my opinion.
