@joerdm1991 sorry man...there's some other dumbasses here insisting that it's still a goal. I thought you were being sarcastic when you asked that. my bad.
-
@nbachmann and everybody knows what CAN happen if you screw around with bouncing pucks..
-
@gnomit wow, you took that completely wrong. I've played hockey my entire life and never heard that rule, I was just trying to confirm what you said to make sure I understood. this is news to me.
-
@joerdm1991 I'm not saying that. The rule book is saying that. Read rule 83.4 in the official NHL rulebook where it explains this. "The only way an attacking team can score a goal on a delayed off-side situation is if the defending team shoots or puts the puck into their own net without action or contact by the offending team." I mean come on it's so obvious. I can't believe people are actually argueing as if this is debatable. Read the rule book people, there is no need for confusion.

@gnomit a goal scored in delayed offside doesnt count? really? So your saying if the other 4 guys are offside, and I shoot the puck in from center ice its no goal?
-
@brownp72 your an idiot...YES those things have to happen for the play to actually be blown dead, which is only in order to maintain flow of the game, but any goal scored during a delayed offside doesn't count. period.
-
Can't believe they actually sounded the horn on that... What an idiot.
-
Smart move actually, if he touches it and it goes in it counts.
Leaving it alone was the safest play.

Hasek is pretty much the greatest of all time.
