My urchin kept putting my zoa frags on his head and then going all over the tank with it. One zoa frag fell off the urchins head overnight and landed on another zoa frag and stung it. The zoas died. So i decided to get something to attach the corals to the tank rock so they can't be picked up by the urchin. This putty is good.
It's best to first glue (reef safe) a coral frag to a disk/plug, And after that then use this putty to stick the frag disk onto your rock.
The corals show absolutely no signs of anything bad. I've done this with all my corals with success, they all grow and multiply, so i thought i'd show how to do it so folks won't be hesitant to try this method if you need to.
If you have a skimmer, reef safe putty could impact your skimming abilities for a short while so keep an eye on your skimmer for a few hours, then your skimmer will return to it's normal skimming ability.
Hi, thanks much :)
The zoas fully recovered from their sting thank goodness. I just fed them everydaym and over the course of two weeks they healed up and are even growing a baby.
