Agreed. this is all very true. I knew a beekeeper many years ago and his bees started acting strangely. Today, I know another beekeeper who's bees are also acting strangely, getting diseased, abandoning the hives and so on. This is all over the course of about 20 years. I also notice we do not see the famed bumble bee with the big yellow band (around the body) anymore or very, very rarely. Gradually, I've been seeing much less, next to none over the years. We need to encourage the bumblebees, mason bees, ground bees and others, which are our native pollinators.

I wish a pesticide would kill you, you old bitch!

@MarkGubbish It would be helpful if you were to spell out exactly what you mean, and who you are referring to as "her", as in "You do not want to know her".
Having never heard of this woman before I would appreciate some unbiased info.

@beepassionate Her infamous Randomlaughingman account that was on here was closed down due to death threats, vulgarities, and hate speech. You do not want to know her. I posted some relevant information that perhaps you may find useful. I have noticed a drastic decline of Honey Bees in my area, with the worst being more than 3 years ago, the last two years I have seen a slight increase in numbers
If I combed through these comments, how many more Clara Massa accounts could I find? Doing a quick look through I found 2. LOL

@MarkGubbish
I have no idea who Clara Massa is nor what she said because for some reason I am not always notified when I get a comment posted.

It's the commercial beekeeping practices that are causing it and all the pesticides/herbicides. When you do artificial insemination with the queen, introduce a new queen, transport them around, have them feed on high glucose corn syrup and poisoned land what do you think will happen?

@gearlockT Commercial bee practices have been around for 40 years. However clothianidin has been scientifically proven to kill even the microbes in the soil that break soil down. Please buy, "The Systemic Pesticides: A Disaster in the Making." It clarifies that our entire ecological system is on the verge of collapse. Bees are just a barometer of what is happening on a greater scale.
