Top advisers to Texas Governor Rick Perry say he's 50/50 on whether to seek the GOP nomination for 2012, but in a speech this weekend before the Republican leadership conference, Perry was very clear about Republican party values and how the Obama administration is mishandling the nation. But should he decide to run, is Perry the candidate the GOP has been waiting for and can he beat President Obama? Watch the debate between Brad Blakeman, former deputy assistant to President George W. Bush and Dick Harpootlian, South Carolina's Democratic Party Chair and then let us know what you think!

"fact 10 yrs 200 days 800k jobs. just a fact. Trying to say thats not a fact is crazy." My state's unemployment rate is just as high as everywhere else in the country. Texas is losing jobs just as fast as everywhere else. Those 800k jobs your so proud of? Slave wage posts stripped of the most basic of worker's rights, paying a dollar less than the national average for minimum wage. More uninsured than any other state in the union. And a budget shortfall. 'Texas miracle' my ass.

This is my un-bias opinion. Other than Ron Paul no republican canidate at the moment has a chance against Obama. If Rick Perry ends up being the Republican canidate he might as well not waste money campaigning because he makes Democrats and independants who dont like Obama will vote for Obama just so they dont have to deal with Perry.

The music in Rick Perry's anti-gay, anti-non-Christian ad was composed by Aaron Copland, who was both gay and Jewish. He's also wearing the jacket from Brokeback Mountain.
