good strength but put your thumb around the bar you dont want that to slip out of your hand and get injured and lose all the progress you have made

when i was 185 pounds i maxed at 315 at the age of 19. i gave up on lifting for a few years, just got back into it at 23 weighing 235 pounds, and i just managed to do 300 once the other day, with 250-260 for reps of five, 3 sets. when i started lifting, i was bench pressing 110 pounds at the age of 17.

@accord21 that is good, but you have to realize, as guys get taller, they simply cant have the same size/strength ratio as a short guy. they have longer limbs. makes it harder to get leverage in some lifts, and much harder to pack on muscle

When I was a teenager I use to look up to people who did 225 bench for reps also. Then when I got there myself around 18 years old I realised, I only weigh 165 and I bench 225 for reps and all those other people weigh over 215lbs and that's all they can do? So pound for pound, Im way stronger than most of the people in the gym, I stopped looking up to them and felt bad for them.

Nice video. I look up to people who bench 225 10x lol. I wish I would of lifted when I was in my early hs school years. I was always a skinny kid who was completely ignorant about basic nutrition and lifting. Then 07-08 I started curling but never did compound exercises until 09. So I only have a couple years where I been lifting seriously sort of.
I think I can bench 205-225 somewhere in between there. I am pissed though cause I benched 200 lbs a long time ago then got sick a few times.

well what i meant is that your biceps show more, i wanna get mine like that too any advice?...nah i workout at a gym so i cant record videos lol

I'd say work them hard and honest, nothing special...oh yeah avoid over-training. don't be afraid to delay or skip a workout.

I work MY biceps once a week. I do heavy back work (which uses biceps) and then i do between 2 and 6 direct biceps sets..
