The History Channel's Modern Marvels made a trip to Fort Roberdeau in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Their mission was to video a Colonial soldier making a lead bullet.

wow i just read my old comment funny how time flys now i have a 50cal hawken percussion cap rifle my first deer was with that gun and all my others were with the same gun.

Great video, I got hooked on black powder shooting many years ago and flintlocks are my favorite, Its very addictive

In all of the years I've been shooting, flintlock shooters are some of the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet. Usually, very knowlegable of their firearm history, a bit dorky sometimes, and often times....ummmm....fat. Ok, like me too ;-)
