Phil Lynott & Steve Johnson - Revolution (People Get Ready) (December 1985)

One of the last recordings Phil Lynott made was a rough demo of the track "Revolution (People Get Ready)". As with "No More", Steve Johnson is the guitarist here.

As for the track itself, Lynott has a nice catchy chrous written, but the verses need a little work. He also borrows a little bit from "Soldier of Fortune" toward around the 3 minute mark.

Anyway, today (8/20) would be been Phil Lynott's 59th birthday. Drink a few for him...ok? I will be later this evening. Enjoy!

how can I find this and other demos from that period? Ive got "Phil Lynott the man and his music vol.I-VII" ... and complete Lizzy discography + Grand Slam, but this extra demo stuff I haven`t got... so if there is anyhow somewhere on the net - please tell me!
