This is a video of a diving bell (air chamber) in a pool. The husband and wife enter into the diving bell and the daughter brings them a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. Quite a place for a romantic cool sip. The diving bell is portable and can be put in any pool.

  • Terrible Idea for kids. Do you realize if they held their breath from down there, they could possibly burst their lungs? Good luck with that guy

  • @kpie2208 Your talking about Boyles law. I'm a SCUBA instructor and brief all parents about the physics involved. With the bell only being 4' under the surface, there is an insufficient increase of lung volume to to any damage. But I thank you for your concern.

  • nice idea but I think it's a little dangerous for kids don't you think!!??

  • @RCvehicles It does seem way more dangerous than it really is, which is exactly why kids think it's the coolest thing they had done all summer. After 6 pool parties, the only injury was a busted pinky toe. This happened to a 36 year old that accidentally kicked it while treading water too close to it. This thing is definitely NOT for all pool party's. The main comment made by parents after 6 party's was that ALL the racket is underwater.

  • Since I live in Wisconsin, borrowing it may be difficult.

I am handy with tools, though. Are there plans, drawings, etc. somewhere?

  • @mike53593 Building the bell (chamber) is the easy part, getting the frame and the appropriate amount of weight will take you awhile. You will also need a piston type compressor that doesn't impart impurities into the air hose (not shown because I, the photographer, is using it to breath whilst photographing), such that a fresh and constant supply of air is being supplied. You are welcome to call me at 904-272-6369 for more details.

  • @trzn49 I'm SCUBA apprentice my friend,, but this video is very interesting but it can be quite serious dangerous for that poor little girl... if i was a father i will not gonna place my daugher nor son for that... and at least little girl is safe and she swims very good too!

  • i like that is really nice

  • @trzn49 Well according to Boyles law(P1*V1=P2*V2), a volume of air held in ones lungs at 4 feet, brought to the surface would expand around 10.5%. I would not feel comfortable with a child excited in the pool taking a deep breath while under this thing and heading up to the surface. 10.5%is a lot for a lung to expand, especially with children...
