A clip of me driving on the 2008 Joe Pearlstein Memorial Bear Mountain Pre-Run.
Nothing too exciting here other than some fun sounds - traffic prevented me from getting anywhere above 6K.

  • @mynock05 lool, better luck next time.

  • @casualsax3 ur a nigger

  • @mynock05 It's probably worth mentioning that you're also talking to the guy who started and continues to maintain the authoritative 20v parts list on MR2OC.

While your ear-based knowledge of the 20v is clearly formidable, please feel free to PM me over there if you're interested in sounding like you know what you're talking about the next time you go commenting on Youtube.

  • @mynock05 I did the swap back when you still had to fab your own plug wires from a Camry set, back before anyone was producing 20v>16v harness kits, back before Aaron at Lithia Toyota started making 20v exhaust B pipes, and back before Jeff at Champion Toyota in Texas started importing and stocking any 20v components.

  • @mynock05 not sure if you're just trolling, but in all seriousness you're looking at a first gen (meaning 91-93) 20v Silvertop that's been transplanted into a Charcoal Grey '89 with a stock MR2 C52 transmission and a (mostly) stock 2.5" SuperCharged exhaust system. I was one of the one of the first owners in the northeast to do the swap back in 2004.

  • @casualsax3 ive owned both, this is a 16, nice try tho

  • @mynock05 they do sound different - this is most definitely a 20 valve though.

  • 16V not a 20V they sound totally different this is not a 20V

  • nice! great turn out this year
