@upiluften Maybe, but that wasn't the cause of the crash. He came in waay too fast and tried to force the plane down. A landing is only as good as your approach, and his approach was fucked! Should have gone around.

With a ship like that, you have to spend the first few flights doing NOTHING but practicing approaches and landings. You have to learn to handle it close to the ground and get used to the way it transitions from a powered cruise to a glide to a flare right on the runway numbers. If it doesn't have operable flaps, you'll never get it to land correctly.
