hey man, is playing a lute just like playing a guitar, like same fret with and same chord's n stuff?

@Gustarist Hey, it's kinda similar, tune your 3rd string down to F# and then the intervals will be the same as the lute, so you can learn the chord shapes, put a capo on the 3rd fret it'll be the right pitch. This lute is an 8 course so it's got low F and D bass strings aswell.
As far as playing, it's harder to actually get a good sound outof it, cos the neck is so wide chords are harder to hold and cos i play with nails it sounds a bit scratchy. Its cool once you get the hang of it though!
