Infinite Universe Game, v0.13, made with C# and XNA

Please read description!

I have been making this game for about a year with three other people and this is NOT the finished product. We still have much to do but we expect to finish by Jan.15 2011.
All the pictures were drawn using Paint.Net (Yes not very "proffesional" but it works), however the music/sounds are borrowed from Hegemonia and X3 - Terran Conflict which mean I DO NOT OWN any of it. Everything other than the music was made by me or the Infinite Universe team.
This is my FIRST GAME, which means I have not had any experience yet.
Also please post ideas, comments, suggestions so that I can improve on anything which doesn't work or sort of works.

I used C# as the programming language along with XNA and had to use XACT to get the sound to work. By the way, the "Attack" label in the edge of the screen is just some feedback that I am using at the moment so that I can modify the game based on the information. Yes I forgot to remove it before I posted the video... please only constructive criticism, thanks.

I used FRAPS to record this so a part of this is sloooow... the file size was too large so I used Prism Video File Converter to convert it to .mp4 so the quality ruins the game a teeny bit.
