Christs Convent / Convento Christo, Tomar

The convent founded by the Knights Templars, on land given to them by Portuguese kings, favoured because of the Templars help to keep the Moslems off the land. ( Later on the Templars were outcasts too, but that´s an other story.. )
Anyway, our visit to the convent took place on a very rainy day, which you can see on some pictures. This is a "must see" point on your Portugal trip.

They let everything come down! The portuguese authorities are wretched and despicable! Look at the state of this marvel! It looks like ruins, full of garbage in top! Detestable mentality! Detestable government! Detestable people!
