Warring factions have signed a new peace deal to immediately halt the violence ravaging the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The new accord was signed by the government, rebel leader Laurent Nkunda, and the

Mai Mai group, along with several other factions. Forces will pull out of key areas, where fighting has driven away 800 thousand residents in the last year alone.
Yvonne Ndege reports.
