Totally with you. Even the lyrics are very close: "How can he win her heart, when it got torn apart." Latasha has a great voice, but this is way too copycat. It makes me want to listen to He Can Only Hold Her more than anything, which is more upbeat and, more importantly, original.

Dude, you totally nailed it. It sounds WAY too much like He Can Only Hold Her... not just the chords but the vocal pacing, too. Latasha obviously has an incredible voice, and I like this type of music. However, this song is so close to Amy's song that I actually thought it was a cover/alternate version of the Amy song. It's okay for people to compare your voice to Amy's: that means you can sing. But you can't do songs like this because it sounds too copycat and unoriginal.

Beautiful song but reminds me too much of Amy's - He Can Only Hold Her. Cool chick though... lovin all her music... so happy to be hearing more music close to the late Amy... Just please please let your own identity shine through so people just don't think ur an Amy duplicate..

what sound is that, in particular? you mean the sound that is lacking in the U.S. and everywhere else has been capitalizing on, while we, here in the states, have what's perpetuated on the airwaves. this "played sound" is making a strong comeback around the continents.... for a reason. not hating on your opinion at all, just exposing that the nature of it is a little unnecessary beyond the fact that that you attempt to showcase some sort of preexisting expertise on the subject. nothing but love.
