Part 1 of 2. In this video I talk about Inferiority Complexes. This includes my story, emotional neglect, separation anxiety, social anxiety, BPD and self-injury. I'd like to learn how to deal with my Inferiority Complex and I made a list of goals that I hope that will help me and you guys to defeat this complex.

I'd love for you to join me in this recovery. LETS MAKE A LIST TOGETHER THAT CAN WORK FOR ALL OF US!

Here is what I've got so far.
List of goals:
- Write down where your Inferiority Complex is coming from (childhood).
- What are your shortcomings? Are they realistic?
- How are you still dealing with it today?
- Try not to be what people want you to be for two weeks, but just be you. And write down what happens in those situations. What's different?
- Don't accept it when people are mean to you. Do something about it. Write down what you did.
- Don't try to deal with everything on your own, try to ask help.

If you have more/better ideas, please make a comment on this video and I'll include it in our list!

'Trophification' (Karen) made a wonderful video response:

  • Man I feel for you, my father was also physically and verbally(more so) abusive. Putting me down all the time, parents divorced at 13 because my mother cheated on him; followed by putting up with years of him bashing her to me. Now I can't trust anyone, I constantly push my wife away. Thank you so much, your videos have already helped me, we have a lot in common. Thanks you so much for doing this for everyone watching this video.

  • @kwsixpack You're welcome. Hope you are ok. Take care.

  • Hi, I dunno what your name is but I must say I feel what you are feeling and I still in this vicious cycle between trying to be perfect and then withdrawn because I felt that I am not being perfect. I wish to say that let us be strong in this hard situation we are in, I know it has been 6 months and you are probably feeling much better now but I just want to say that you have my support! =)

  • @ThePoll321 Well thank you so much!! :)

  • In the book Reinventing Your Life(Leven in je leven) they say it is possible to cure a lifetrap ? Do you believe that ? Can personality disorder be cured ?

  • @nielsz1972 First of all I think the book is really great! I read it several times. Personally, I don't approach things in a way that is like : cured, not cured. But more like: you have symptoms and I want to learn to deal with them and make them fade away in my life. You know what i mean.

    Take care!

  • @AngelSeraphiel You're welcome :)

  • A very informative video! Thank you for providing so many examples from your own life =)

  • I noticed that you said you were sorry because the video was 2 parts. I also constantly apologize for everything. If you really think about it there is no reason to be sorry that the video is 2 parts. That is a result of you tube's limitation of the duration of each uploaded video.

  • @groovekiller Thanks! I'll check it out.
