The red machine is the greatest team I ever saw, not the 72 team that lost to the A's-they had holes-Menke, shortstop, no griffy, but the 75 and 76 teams would have crushed the 72-74 a's. Look at the overall records of those teams. The A's did not even have the best record in baseball any of the years they won. The 75-76 reds had the best record in all of baseball and led the majors in offense and defense without the dh. The best ever-the only team to sweep the playoffs and W.S. in 76!

@SportsCards57 Yogi Berra onced said that he loved baseball so much that he would have played for free
-
their was a joke where they asked a retired 70 professional baseball player who had a battling average of over 300 for the 18 years he played-They asked him if he were playing ball today with all the talented pitchers they have today what would be his batting average? He said about 220-The man said "220" you hit over 300 when you were playing-the baseball player said yea but I'm 70 HA HA

@TheJabberwocki Wrong, the 1928 New York Yankees, but the Reds were a close second

Well, when 1970's athletes appear on a homo TV show, that really means you faggots/dykes have definitely arrived. I've got to hand it to you homosexuals, you perverts know what you're doing.

Remember how Joe would flap his elbow before the pitch was delivered.
