@dasearsestower actually depending on how high the wall goes, determines how deep I go with the base. everybody got their own way. the gravel on this wall is laying right on top of a stone shelf, and I had to make sure water would not back up behind the wall. and have an escape for the water before they put the new driveway in. I think I used 6 bags of portland for the whole wall. hard to explain unless you were there. thanks Mike
i also am enjoying the videos, thanks for doing the work. two questions on this one, why do you not tie in the stone wall under grade and how much mud did you use between stones when laying the wall?
