    I believe TGE echo might have thrown him off too as someone wrote previously. Lucky for Mike he had "cheat notes" written on his hand! To his credit, he finished strong and beautiful like the pro he is. I love to see the pros mess up sometimes. It just proves that they are just as vulnerable as we all are.

    He may have messed up, but he totally owned the finale, which is the most important part of the national anthem melody-wise. So many people have botched the National Anthem, I don't fault him for a small misstep.
