This is a time lapse view of part of the day in the life of six
goats and two alpacas at the Lakeview Birdfarm.

It was done using the free CHDK software that takes over my Canon SD850IS camera and adds many new features, such as time lapse, long exposures, RAW mode, and many more. It also makes the camera programmable -- you can write programs in BASIC that run in the camera and control all of its features.

Pictures were taken at 1 second intervals. In the video, each shot is shown for 3 frames, and there are 30 frames per second. The camera can support 10 megapixel shots, but since my monitor can only do 4 megapixels, the video is reduced to 1920 by 1536. Youtube then further compresses it by a lot, so the youtube video is not as crystal sharp and clear as what I see on my computer.
