When I lived in Victoria years ago they were dumping 100% of all raw sewage directly into the Juan De Fuca straight. Are they still doing that?

Hi founding - I went to Victoria to retire, but I only stayed there two years. I could not believe the entire city was flushing their toilets into the ocean. I guess that is part of the reason the whale count has dropped from 120 to 80 ? Victoria was charging the cruise ships mega bucks to pump out their sewage holding tanks, and then dump the sewage into the ocean. I really feel bad for Victoria, it has nowhere to go but down.

Victorian government is not only polluting their once nice town, they're polluting
the entire western seaboard including the fair city of Seattle! Victoria literally eats sh1t! Who in their right mind would go there on vacation, or for any other reason! I for
one will not, and will spread the word how Victoria is polluting their area and the world to as many people and institutions as possible. What will be done by years end to fix it's problem?
