@chbedok Captain America, if I recall, was a character created during the war and stood for American ideals and as the hero that fought American enemies like the Nazis, Japanese, etc. So he was more than just a comic book character to a lot of peope, especially the younger generation of that era. He effectively became a great propaganda tool for the US government during the war. IMO, that's what makes the character such an icon.

He could glue wolvie's feet to the floor. That would be amusing.
He could also lead him up a really tall building, then throw him off of it, but then, he'd only do that if he KNEW how indestructible wolverine was.
