  • it will never happen to us deno914 dont you worry about that.

  • LEWES is a fantastic event. A bunch of us came down from Glasgow and had a brilliant time. All the best to everyone we met. To hell with the EU who are trying to destroy this wonderful English tradition.

  • Yeah i march in commerical squere the rook scarers are fun and it kinda rained which was rubbihs

  • get a grip and spend your time replying to someone who gives a shit what u think.

  • Well do us all a favour and stay at home from now on TWAT

  • random question to post on here but does anyone know Kingsley/Dalton, from the Landport area of Lewes, we are old childhood friends and i cant find them on ANY networking site. if so can you let me know there email or something to contact them on.

  • did anyone go this year - it wasnt very good loads of people went early. Omg the fire bangers and the people in the parade - they're INSANE! we kept them lobbed at us and everyone was running and screaming lol.

  • looks good. just a shame taig, spaniard and yanky scum feel the need to take things too seriously and americas a shite hole by the way and the reason the spaniard was getting abuse was because he was spanish not because he was a taig. The spanish are some of the most bigoted people on the planet as well. the spanish nick our north sea fish, treat us like shit over there even though our tourism is funding their arses, they use the EU against us and moan when we hate them, but yeah this looks good.

  • I Am from Lewes and my teeth are great. Got to love a bit of tradition! Must be a one off.

It was compulsory to celebrate, by Royal Decree, to celebrate the deliverance of the King until 1859.

The night also commemorates the Glorious Revolution and 17 local Protestant martyrs that were burnt at the stake during Marian Persecutions of the Catholic Queen Mary I

Is your problem that the effigies are of pope Paul the V? Get over your personal problems poldark3.
