"Proud to be American"? Lucky to have been born here is more like it...and maybe not so lucky if Ron Paul doesn't get elected.
"God Bless the USA"? Why not "God Bless the Whole Wide World"?. Didn't God create the "whole world"?

They fought to DEFEND our freedom, not to GIVE us our freedom. I know for a lot of people it is like splitting hairs, but I think it a huge difference when you ask, "WHere do our rights originate? Are they God-given or man-made?"

.hi..i have a request i have a friend who died in iraq. he was blown up by a i.e.d. roadside bomb. Jeff Cheney , OMAHA, NEBRASKA. (NAVY) is his name.
