...in 1972, at the meeting point of four Southern Pacific lines, the mammoth West Colton classification yard was constructed. Its purpose was for creating manifest freights, though the lines saw many different types of freight traffic. Now, 3DTrainstuff and Diesels West have teamed up to create the ultimate West Colton for Microsoft Train Simulator. Can it work within the limitations of the game?

  • Amazing how they include the Roadway freight dock in their renderings. I used to work at that facility, until the economy went bad. Cool vid. I never knew there were computer model trains. It might be something I could look into.

  • @Epiclifestory WOW!

  • This is some intense stuff!!!!

  • man I cant wait until I get enough money saved up to buy both those SP packs from DW and the Colton route :)

  • The West Colton route, and rolling stock packs have a total cost of 95 dollars.

  • Phenominal looking route with a phenominally well done video! I can imagine it would be hard on frame rates, but you make it looks so good and smooth. You must have one hell of a system! Pretty pricey @ $90 for route and stock to run 10 act's - but like you say, if one's after a realistic Colton Yard, it would be worth it.

  • A good video but the cheesy 80's music really ruins it.

  • I really wish I could get this route, but my computer can only handle but so much.
